What is the difference between proofreading and copyediting?
Proofreading catches spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. Copyediting goes further: consistency, style, rhythm and clarity. If you are looking to hire a freelance French copy editor for that deeper level, that is exactly what I do. I always tell you which level your text actually needs, and I never bill for more than that.
Can you work directly in our tools?
Yes. Google Docs, Word with tracked changes, CMS back offices, translation platforms or your internal tools: I adapt to your workflow, not the other way around.
Do you proofread French text generated with AI?
Yes, and it is one of my specialties. AI writes plausible French that often hides false friends, calques and outdated phrasing. I check the substance and polish the form so no reader can tell.
How fast can you deliver?
